Aluminum billet shear for cutting heated billets
The hot shear acts as a connecting device between the aluminum billet heating furnace and the extrusion press. It is a widely used auxiliary component in aluminum extrusion production lines. Designed foraccurate length cutting and smooth cross-section finishes, this hot shear optimizes billet utilization and improves aluminum profile
production efficiency.
The hot shear machine is mainly composed of five components:conveying roller bed, sliding type hot shear, aluminum scrap recyclingunit, fixed length measuring table unit and billet turn-over feeding unit.The main function of the hot shear is to transfer the aluminum billetfrom the heating furnace to the hot shear roller bed, then cuts thebillets to fixed lengths based on specifications. Finally, the aluminum billet is transferred to the extrusion press’s mechanical hand after cutting

 

Structure of Aluminium billet hot shear horizontal type

1.Frame
It is made from machined steel plate, bolted and welded together to form a house for the fixed clamping shear rings, and guide rail for the moving shear unit. The frame is bolted to a fabricated steel base plate, fixed directly to the floor with foot bolts.
The moving shear unit has bronze liners bolted on and is connected to the shear cylinder by a floating block, minimizing non-axial loading on the shear cylinder rod.
2. Shear ring
The shear rings are made from tool steel, grade H13 and hardened with tenacity.

3. P.M.S SYSTEM (precise measurement system)
The new design will make sure the billet length control in ±3mm, we Adopt mechanical scale,accurate and durable,not affected by any other。
