Back loading short stroke aluminium extrusion press structure

The loading drawing(shown left)shows the following,back Short Stroke press performance steps:are as outlined:stem moves away from central line to reserve space for billet loader, billet loader delivers the billet to the press central line,the billet will be delivered by the billet pusher,the stem returns back to the original location after the billet loader leaves,main plunger drives stem forward and starts extrusion.

 

The billet requirement for the back loading press is not very high,which would be suitable for cutting billet form hot log shear,two smail preces of connecting billet,and also applys for smail presses.



Front loading short stroke aluminium extrusion press structure

The drawing (shown left)shows the following,front loading short stroke operation steps. main plunger and container comes backward until the location of the setting aside of the billet loader between container and die,the billet is delivered to the press central line by the billet loader, the container goes forward and holds the billet, then the main plunger drives stem and starts extrusion.

The billet requirement for front loading short stroke press is very high,only adopts cutting billet and also applies applies for big presses.
